Between the pine trees and the sea, just a ten-minute walk from the beaches of Saint-Raphaël and Fréjus, Le Clos du Dramont stands as a serene escape, a stopover between sky and azure. Here, the cicadas’ whisper replaces the noise of the world, light dances on the pale shutters, and every guest rediscovers the time to live. A charming hotel in Saint-Raphaël, Le Clos du Dramont doesn’t seek to shine, but to soothe. It cultivates the rare art of a sincere welcome, a peaceful morning, and a benevolent gaze, while remaining within reach of the city center, where festivities and entertainment are in full swing, especially during the high season.

Andréa & Maxime: Ten Years Dedicated to the Art of Hospitality in Saint-Raphaël

Before settling at Clos du Dramont, Andréa and Maxime honed their high standards in palaces and luxury hotels, where every detail matters and hospitality is a living art.

Andréa: from Therapy to Wellness Management

Andréa initially worked as a spa therapist before going on to become a spa manager at leading establishments such as the Crans Ambassador Hotel & Spa in Crans-Montana and the Park Gstaad in Switzerland.

Throughout these establishments, she cultivated attentive listening, precision of movement, and the operational excellence of a luxury hotel spa, combining team management, treatment rituals, service quality, and attention to calming details.

Maxime: Sommelier as a Language

Maxime first carved out a career as a sommelier at various prestigious establishments, before becoming Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Crans Ambassador Hotel & Spa, and then Head Sommelier at La Réserve Genève.

From the cellar to the dining room, he shaped a true sommelier’s signature: demanding selection of winemakers, perfect food and wine pairings, knowledge transfer, and team management with that simple elegance that transforms every tasting into a shared moment.

Together: an Experience Dedicated to Closeness

Between them, it’s over ten years spent in major Swiss and international establishments: places where every gesture has meaning and high standards are combined with kindness.

Today, they put this experience at the service of Clos du Dramont, for sincere, precise, and deeply human hospitality.

A Home in Their Image, between Rigor and Emotion

In 2025, they become the new owners of Clos du Dramont.

Their vision: an intimate, lively, deeply human hotel, where the high standards learned in grand establishments are found, softened by the Southern light.

Their promise: to offer a genuine experience, where a smile matters as much as a sea horizon.

From a Historic Inn to a Haven of Peace: Le Clos Du Dramont in Saint-Raphaël

From 1836 to Today: The Memory of a Place in Saint-Raphaël

Built in 1836, the building was first the Dramont post office, before becoming a Provençal inn. Its walls witnessed the 1940s, World War II, then the holiday summers and the laughter of travelers. Each era left its mark, each owner a story.

Rated 2 stars by Atout France and recognized by the Guide du Routard, the hotel turns a new page without denying its soul: formerly Auberge Provençale, it becomes Le Clos du Dramont.

At the foot of Cap Dramont and the Estérel massif, the house breathes the pine forest and warm stone. One enters as if pushing a familiar door: a charming, intimate, and warm retreat, confidential and warm, where the same attentions as yesterday are whispered, but with a name that better expresses what we are. Here, every detail watches over tranquility, every smile tells of Provence, and the marine horizon extends the stay long after departure.

A Refuge Between the Azure Sea and the Estérel Massif in Saint-Raphaël

Just ten minutes’ walk from the beaches and Fréjus port, Le Clos du Dramont nestles between the sea and the Estérel massif. The pine trees whisper, the sea breeze caresses the shutters, and the sea view invites you to slow down.

Here, comfort is not a facade: it’s silence, light, a breath.

The Encounter: a Place, a Couple, a Philosophy

Le Clos du Dramont is not just a hotel: it’s a house inhabited by a soul. Andréa and Maxime found here a reflection of their values: closeness, generosity, attentiveness, sincerity. Their welcome is far from formal: it has the charm of a genuine conversation, a discreet gesture, a hand placed on a still-warm cup of coffee. A human-sized home, a refuge for those seeking the essentials: peace, the sea, light.

The Clos Breakfast in Saint-Raphaël

At dawn, the golden light brushes the tables and terrace. In the morning, breakfast is served either in the breakfast room or on the outdoor terrace, under the eucalyptus trees.

The buffet celebrates local produce:fresh bread and pastries, homemade cakes and yogurts, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, cold cuts, Var honey, seasonal fruits.

Each product is chosen with care, each flavor evokes Provence.

A suspended moment, between the steaming coffee and the birds’ song: here, breakfast is a way of life.

The Wine Bar & Terrace: The Sommelier’s Art of Living

As the day softens, the terrace of Clos du Dramont becomes an open-air lounge.

Under the pine trees, we share a platter, listen to a winemaker’s story, and taste a glass chosen by Maxime, a passionate sommelier.

From 6 PM to 10 PM, the lights come on, tapas are shared, and conviviality is reinvented.

A summer moment, a heartfelt moment.
